New Song - "Superheroes"

Verse:

Superheroes.m4a

Have you ever heard of a mother
who could raise six kids on her own
while the daddy's out all night working
trying to bring some money home?
Have you every heard of a father who works
60 hours a week? Well he's
driving all over town trying to
make opposing ends meet.

Chorus:

There's no way they could survive - without faith.
They lean on each other to stay alive - every day.
No one knows the sacrifice that they pay.

Verse:

Have you ever heard of a woman who lives
Two-thousand miles away from her
not-so-immediate family? Yeah when she's
there she wants to stay.
Have you ever heard of a man who only
saw his dad once a year? Well now he
only lives on in memory through the
photographs and the tears.

Chorus:

There's no way they could survive - without faith.
They lean on each other to stay alive - every day.
No one knows the sacrifice that they pay.

Verse:

Have you ever heard of a family where they're
living in a cramped one-story house? And there's
never a dull moment as the children
all twist and shout. I want you to
Now imagine the parents
tired and coming home to a mess:
you understand why their patience
is thinning and always put to the test.

Chorus:

There's no way they could survive - without faith.
They lean on each other to stay alive - every day.
No one knows the sacrifice that they pay.

Bridge:

It might seem a little sad,
but actually it's not so bad.
You could call them superheroes,
but I know them as "Mom" and "Dad."

Ramblin' Man is on a hot streak.

  1. Uhm, hello? You're awesome. The lyrics are not complete without the music and the song as a whole is just fantastic. I'm sure you already have a ton of fans, but now you have one more. :)
