Library Fun

On Mondays and Wednesdays I have French from 9 to 10:15, and then I don't have Italian until 12, so I usually go to the library and take a nap. Unfortunately, I couldn't sleep today. Double unfortunately, I have class until 7. So I'm gonna be butt-tired all day, and then we have FHE after my class. And then I gotta pump out some Valentine's! Long day. Listening to Jason Mraz, he's great. Way talented.

So what's been happening...I've been eating out way too much, and not exercising enough. I've been to the Malt Shoppe twice in the last week, to Sensuous Sandwiches, Jason's Deli twice, Sub Zero Ice Cream, the Cannon, annd a lot more places...not to mention I made chili and a cake for David when he came back for a couple minutes. Then I made another chili, but doubled the recipe (which cost me like $25!) so feed myself and 7 friends from Richland. It was super fun though, and we got to watch BYU crush Airforce by nearly 40 points.

But going back to a couple weeks ago. We destroyed the other team at our soccer game. I actually scored from maybe the edge of the goal box - it was perfect. Then I had fun at Peter Pan, had fun playing volleyball for a few minutes after, and then went to play more volleyball later that night. Funny story actually...I was doing laundry with Warren, and we were walking back after putting a load in the dryer. There were 4 people standing outside my building - all holding a guitar. So naturally I had to get mine too. We decided to go play in the laundromat, why we couldn't just go to one of our apartments I don't know. Anyway we were in there playing when this girl came in and recognized one of the guys I was playing with because they had played volleyball together before. She invited us to come play that night because she was just about to go. My stuff was almost done, so I asked if we could wait a few minutes because I really wanted to go. I threw my not-so-dry clothes in the tub I brought them in and ran them to my apartment and changed before getting in a car with 4 strangers to go play volleyball. Chelsea, the girl who invited us, was really cool. Her friend Nikki and Nikki's sister Haley were with us, and they were both awesome. We played for like 2 hours, and it was the most fun I've ever had playing volleyball. I really wanna go back, but haven't been available the last couple of weekends.

I had to write a really complicated French paper the last two weeks that I hope I did well on. We analyzed a poem (L'Horloge par Baudelaire) and yeah. It was hard. Especially because I don't know what combinations of words sound awkward to a native speaker like my professor. Hopefully if I get this internship I'll get a better understanding of sentence structure.

Break of Dawn just came on by Michael Jackson. This song is perfect for makin' babies.

Anyway...I'm going to Vegas this weekend (president's day weekend) with Alli, Jenn, and Melissa. In alphabetical order. I'm really excited though because the only other time I've been there was when I was a baby and honestly I just don't remember it. Other vacations - I made plans to go camping a month from now with Danielle, Hannah, and Gentry. That should be real fun.

I think it would be cool to work at Gold's Gym this summer. Just the little one by Wal-Mart, but I think that would be good for my health, plus it's really close. I'm planning on calling them sometime to see if they'll have openings. I just don't really wanna go back to KinderCare, as much as I loved the kids and the paycheck. Other options - a third application to Target, Home Depot, one of the other stores in that area, waiting some restaurant nearby, playing gigs at wineries or something, or not working. Not working really isn't an option actually. Especially if I don't get the internship. Although I'm 95% sure I'll get it...

Well, I have Italian in 20 minutes. Then Bio, then Writing, then getting my paper edited, then BOM. Ahhhh...

Ramblin' Man is feeling a little overwhelmed.
